The eye doctor, Dr. Gist, at the World of Vision has been providing eye exams in Ankeny since 2006.

Any questions, please contact our office. We will be glad to assist you with your insurance questions, but ultimately the relationship is between you and your insurance company, not between the patient and the provider. 

Our practice participates in the Medicare program, we will accept assignment of benefits on behalf of each eligible patient. Generally the health examination is a covered service. However, under mandated Federl Law, the refraction portion of the exam is a non-covered service and each patient is responsible for this minimal charge at the time of service.
